Filthy Player was amazing, it showed a lot of feelings and it got me feeling a load of different emotions as the story went on. It was full of laughs, tension, feelings, emotion overload. The utterly fantastic second book in the series.
Filthy Player definitely lived up to its name, at the thought I thought that it would be more filthy with how Beaux went after Paige. Beaux did us everything he had to his disposal, but not in an absolute filthy way as you expected. That made the story all the more enjoyable for me.
Paige, I loved the fact she put family before herself. It got annoying how all she thought about was that everything for her father was all of her responsibility. She was very related to many people in that perspective.
She was the type of girl that many guys wouldn't give her the time of day for. As for where she was selfless, they were selfish, and that is how many females nowadays can feel. Having her with trust issues with Beaux built the story more than their attraction to each other.
This story showed love in a different way, it didn't show it in an instant like most that I have read showed, it also hadn't shown both parties lust for each other, It showed a strong woman who wouldn't let a guy change her life instant grow into becoming lustful for him.
Filthy Player can get your senses tingling, in many different ways. It was gripping. It was sensual. It was loving. It was moving. It held so many feelings. You can go through a whole chapter and end up feeling almost 5 different emotions for the characters. It was filthy. It was steamy, It was cute. Jeez, It was everything you could possibly think from the title.
I loved every minute of the book. I will be reading this again. I also loved who it carried on from Dirty Player nicely. From Shannon to her brother Beaux and kept it in the timeline. I think that is what had made it all the more special.Â
